Molly Made, in the province of Newfoundland
and Labrador, is a Fibre Art Studio located in the little seaside
community of Woody Point nestled in Gros Morne National Park surrounded by
beautiful mountains and scenery.
At the studio you can learn the tradition of hand hooked rugs. Rug hooking can
be relatively simple to learn and consists of one stitch - using a hook to
pull a loop of yarn through a hole in a backing.
From this basic skill, you can expand to design your own patterns. There
are many levels of rug hooking and the combination of color, texture and
design are the key to creating your own master piece. It is great for
beginners as will as the expert, there is always a challenge.
